Even though I hadn’t worked with polymer clay at all for about ten years, I still assumed people were using the same techniques they’d used when I first learned how to use it. I actually didn’t even think it was necessary for me to buy any new books. I was so wrong! Polymer clay art really advanced while I was busy with life. One of the new techniques I’m so thankful for is the skinner blend (http://www.polymerclaycentral.com/poleigh/skinner.html). I used it in the spirals above and use it in almost every design I make now.
