Stamped Designs

The following pendants are the first of a new technique I’m trying out. Instead of making the design in a clay cane, I used stamps to make these designs. I first made many thin layers of different colors of clay. I then stamped designs into the clay (flower stamps, circle stamps, etc.) covering the piece. Then I carefully shaved away the top layers of clay that weren’t indented by the stamp.
